Forthcoming NRES Training Days

Simply complete the appropriate training booking form – links are at the foot of each training day page.

Frequently asked questions

How do I apply to attend an NRES training day?

You need to complete and submit the appropriate NRES application form  – there are links at the foot of each page and email it to nrestraining@nres.nhs.uk.  A member of the NRES training team will then be in touch with you within three working days to confirm if you have a place or if your name has been added  to the reserve list.

Will I receive a delegate pack?

Yes.  All training days will have some training materials which you will need to print (from the joining instructions email), and take with you on the day. NRES Committee members may wish to arrange for their co-ordinator to help with this.

Is accommodation included in the training day?

No. Participants are responsible for making their own arrangements.  Accommodation and travel costs should be met by the delegate or their employer.  (NRES staff and members will be able to claim costs via host or NRES expenses policies)

The training day I wish to attend appears to be fully booked. Can I be placed on a waiting list?

Yes. You will be placed on a reserve list and the Training Team will contact you when a place becomes available to confirm if  you would still like to attend.

Will I get any certificate or Continued Personal Development points for attending any of the training sessions?

Yes. Certificates of attendance are provided for all delegates for every training day. Continued personal development (CPD) points will have been applied for, for those training days that attract them. The number of points to be awarded and the code will be stated on the certificate.

Are all  the training days for the current training year (April to March) advertised on the website?

Yes, they are all advertised on the website which is regularly updated.

Find your venue

You may wish to use the Transport for London website to plan a route and suggest travel times to venues in the London area. National Rail journey planner may assist you if you need to use over ground trains.

You can copy the postal code of the venue and paste it in to the search field of either Streetfinder or Google Maps to obtain a map for the given venue. Walkit.com is also a helpful site for planning walking routes for some cities in the UK
